First United Methodist Church of Edinburg will cancel its 11:00 A.M. worship service on Sunday, September 27. Instead of filling the pews, members will be put their faith into action by going out into the community to serve others. Members will participate in a variety of service projects such as preparing lunch for the homeless at the Salvation Army, going door-to-door to collect food for The Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley, landscaping at a local nature center and packing supplies for disaster victims. We invite you to come serve with us! It won't be glamorous, but you will have a chance to make new friends and make a difference. To take part, be at First United Methodist at 9:00 A.M. on Sunday, September 27.
